Osael Romero was instrumental in the revival of the Salvadoran Men's National Team through the World Cup South Africa 2010 Qualifiers. Ultimately the small Central American nation was not able to secure a spot for the tournament, but Romero was able to make a lasting impression through his play. Mayen, an L.A. native born to Salvadoran parents, is entering his third MLS campaign with Chivas USA.
