Not that an 18-year-old male suspect who allegedly tried to rob two on-duty undercover officers in South LA last night should have known that they were cops. But really, crime can be a lottery. "The two officers each fired multiple rounds striking the suspect. The officers were not injured," an LAPD statement reads. "The suspect was transported by ambulance to the California Hospital where he underwent emergency surgery for multiple gunshot wounds to his torso. His condition is described as serious but stable." An internal division will conduct an investigation into the use of force by the officers. more ›
