Yesterday afternoon the good people behind No Cookie Left Behind held a bake sale to raise funds for Doctors Without Borders and their work in the relief and recovery of Haiti following last month's devastating quake.

Every little bit counts, and cookies can certainly make the giving sweeter--at least that's the philosophy behind the No Cookie Left Behind bake sale that's taking place this weekend in L.A. to raise money to help with the relief and recovery work in Haiti. Up for grabs will be "a dizzying array of sweets from both professional kitchens (Spork Foods, Whisk LA whoopie pies, and Bitter Sweet Treats) and and local homes, as well as a few jars of choice homemade jams." All proceeds will go to Doctors Without Borders.

The 39th annual LA PRIDE Parade is expected to gather over 400,000 people this year and will feature over 125 parade entries including floats, bands, performances, marching community advocacy groups, smiling seniors, proud parents, out teachers and convertibles with honored guests. The parade will run west along Santa Monica Blvd. from Crescent Heights to Robertson Blvds in WeHo, starting at 11 a.m.
