Tonight critically acclaimed Canadian indie rockers Frog Eyes will be headlining the Echo, ringing in their fifth full-length studio album, 2010's Paul's Tomb: A Triumph, with none other than Seattle's own indie rock quintet Mt. St. Helens Vietnam Band in tow. Nashville-bred singer-songwriter/actor Landon Pigg is poised to grace the Troubadour with LAist favorites, Berklee grad and Nashville's most promising pop folk songstress Madi Diaz. And, lastly, San Franciscan folk singer-songwriter Emily Jane White, who is fresh on the heels of the US release of her second album to date, 2010's Victorian America, will be taking on Pehrspace. But we strongly suggest heading over to Spaceland to catch local indie pop outfit the Parson Red Heads (LAist Review, #2, #3, #4). LAist favorites, local alt-rockers Olin & the Moon (LAist Interview) and San Franciscan alternative country outfit Or, The Whale are slated to perform as well.
