A coroner’s investigator said Saturday that Michele Yu, the 49-year-old Venice woman who disappeared hiking last weekend, fell to her death while climbing Mt. Baldy, L.A. County's highest mountain. Search crews in Mount Baldy have located two young hikers reported missing Friday night, according to ABC Local. Out with one fire, in with another. A fast-moving brush fire erupted near Mt. Baldy above Chino and Upland around 2:15 p.m. today, CBS2 reports. 50-150 acres have burned, but winds are reported to be "light and breezy," a good sign that the fire may be more easily controlled.
