A Moreno Valley man has been arrested on charges he sexually molested three little girls at the day care center his wife operates from their home, reports KTLA. 61-year-old Ruben Avalos was "booked for investigation of sex with a child, forced oral copulation and lewd acts upon a child." All the victims are under the age of 14; investigators were led to Avalos after one victim was treated at a local hospital. Avalos sometimes "helps out" at his wife's in-home day care center. Just as El Segundo-based Fresh & Easy's parent company Tesco announced a 15% profit for the first half of 2010, it also said it would be doing some belt tightening in the American Southwest. 13 underperforming stores will be closed, mostly in the Phoenix and Las Vegas metros. Sheriff's deputies served a search warrant on a home on the 26500 block of Pegasus Way which is occupied by a family of three, including "a father, a mother and their 24-year-old son."
