LA Lakers defeat LA Clippers 108-97. Andrew Bynum had a career game against the Clippers scoring 42 points with 15 rebounds. 42 points! That's the most points in a game that any Laker has scored this season. But let's not forget about Kobe Bryant who had a triple-double with 18 points, 10 rebounds and 12 assists. It seemed like his gnarled shooting hand gave him few problems. The Clippers though showed moxie led by Deandre Jordan's 23 points. If he can keep it up the Clippers will be fantastic over the long haul.

In the last five years, mixed martial arts has experienced a surge in popularity, thanks largely to the mainstream emergence of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. With MMA on the rise and it's cousin in combat sports, boxing currently holding on for dear life, the debate over which is the superior sport is rampant. Despite the fact that the two sports are quite different, the war of words wages on (a Google search for "MMA vs boxing" brings back 10,700 results).
