Mila Kunis Casts Butt Double & Bares Sideboob In 'Friends With Benefits'

Mila Kunis makes dreams come true, and with tomorrow's "Friends With Benefits" premiere, she extends her good deeds to men (and women) all over the country. Kunis recently revealed to Ryan Seacrest on his daily morning radio show that she flaunts some mean sideboob in the romcom, as reported by The Marquee Blog. more ›

Mila Kunis Will Make Dreams Come True at Marine Corps. Ball

Mila Kunis Will Make Dreams Come True at Marine Corps. Ball

Los Angeles-based actress Mila Kunis will soon travel to Greenville, North Carolina to give some marines the best night of their life. Not like that -- get your mind out of the "Black Swan" gutter. Kunis' plans are wholesome, clean and all-American. After seeing a video that Sgt. Scott Moore of the 3rd Battalion 2nd Marines in Musa Qala, Afghanistan posted on YouTube asking her to the Marine Corps. Ball on November 18, Kunis has agreed to go. more ›

Weekend Movie Guide: Emotional Scars of Black (Swan) & Blue (Valentine)

Between Kanye West's Runaway and Darren Aronofsky's Black Swan, ballet is staging a serious cinematic comeback. Black Swan opened at the Venice Film Festival earlier this year, and the psychosexual thriller has soared from festival to festival ever since, in the same company as Aronofsky's previous film The Wrestler. more ›

Box Office Review: Surprise!

While most of the smart money had the godawful Clash of the Titans repeating as box office champ, it was the scrappy Date Night -- the middling movie that could -- which ultimately won the weekend. The marginally funny "comedy" hauled in $27.1M to best the marginally mythologically accurate Clash ($26.8M | $110.4M). The wonderful How to Train Your Dragon enjoyed a strong third weekend ($25.3M | $133.8M) while Tyler Perry's Why Did I Get Married Too cratered ($11M | $48.5M). In disquieting news, The Last Song was pretty solid ($10M | $42.4M). This means more Miley movies, America. Shame on you. more ›

Weekend Movie Guide: Date Night?

The presence of Tina Fey and Steve Carell gives me hope for Date Night, but the directorial hand of Shawn Levy really, REALLY worries me. I saw When You're Strange: A Film About the Doors at Sundance back in 2009 and, as a Doors fan, really dug all the previously unseen footage. Johnny Depp's newly recorded narration should improve an already solid film. The Australian The Square has been sitting on the shelf for awhile, but if comparisons to the Coen are valid, it should be fantastic. more ›

Box Office Review: Meh...

The Labor Day weekend is typically a slow time for the movie business as everyone makes one final attempt to catch some elusive summer magic (e.g. sleep with unattainable lust object). As such, The Final Destination was the best of a weak bunch as it nabbed $12.4M ($47.5M) to top the weekend box office. Terrible newcomer All About Steve finished a reasonably close second ($11.2M) just ahead of the steady Inglourious Basterds ($10.8M | $91M). Gamer disappointed in its debut ($9M) as audiences showed a rare flash of sound judgment. more ›

Weekend Movie Guide: New Mike Judge!

             + 8 more

Is it just me or is there a surprising lack of public excitement about the release of Extract? I mean, Mike Judge and Jason Bateman working together on a film? Either one of these guys pulls me into a theater, but both together-- that's nirvana. On the other hand, is anyone looking forward to Gamer? Gerard Butler is rapidly squandering the capital he earned back when he was just a working actor. If you don't know what I mean, watch how great he was in Dear Frankie. Hell, he was even good in Timeline and that movie blew! more ›

Box Office Review: Max brings the Payne!

Box Office Review: Max brings the Payne!

As expected, Marky Mark's had a surprisingly strong start on Friday before tailing off slightly as the weekend continued. Apparently, Americans just can't get enough of their flawed yet heroic president, George W. Bush. more ›

Weekend Movie Guide: Feel the Payne!

Weekend Movie Guide: Feel the Payne!

Judging by the sour critical reception, it sounds like Max Payne probably sucks. They did cut one hell of a trailer, though. Harry Knowles loved Sex Drive, but then again he also loved Godzilla. How do you not go see W.? I mean, a film about George W. Bush directed by Oliver Stone. The curiosity factor alone will pull me in. What Just Happened? received a dismal response at Sundance this year. The original book by Art Linson, however, is a gem. Who knew Alec Baldwin was such a douchebag? Everyone. more ›

Box Office Review: Chan and Li dump Sarah Marshall

Box Office Review: Chan and Li dump Sarah Marshall

As expected (due to its wussy PG-13 rating and higher theater count) ($3.5M/$144.4M). more ›

Weekend Movie Guide: Another Apatow disappointment?

Weekend Movie Guide: Another Apatow disappointment?

Ordinarily, I'm completely disinterested in the box office performance of a movie. Sure, my innate sense of justice leads me to wish that good films will do well and bad films poorly, but I never check Boxofficemojo over the weekend to see how a movie is doing. I may keep on eye on Forgetting Sarah Marshall, though, to see if the weakening Apatow brand can regain some strength after the relative failures of will restore some order to Judd's universe. more ›
