Now, their front-room bar showcases humor with Dave Holmes' new daily talk show: A Drink With Dave. The web show's first week featured five segments with the superfunny Matt Braunger (LAist Interview.) And yes, Dave Holmes probably did host that television program you're thinking he's from.

ID, cash, hand stamp, and on through the nondescript double doors in the back. Yeah, it’s dark, and the ceiling’s a little low, just trust me. It’s a lot less ‘Deer Hunter Russian roulette’ scene than you’re thinking. See? Listen to all that laughter. Look, and there’s Matt Braunger. He wouldn’t kill anybody.*

At well over six feet tall, it would be hard to miss longtime stand up comedian Matt Braunger in a crowd. The good news is, he's not trying to blend into the crowd anyway. After all, this is that one stand up who admits to having normal parents. You know, the one who goes on Letterman and spends half of his set talking about owls, then releases his stand up album Soak Up the Night on vinyl. And besides, that growing crowd was here to see him all along.
Kidrockers Returns This Sunday to The Echo
After a successful inaugural season that included The Afternoons, The Deadly Syndrome, The Parson Red Heads, Whispertown 2000, The Broken West, Le Switch, Radar Bros., The One AM Radio, Eulogies, Langhorne Slim, One Trick Pony, Local Natives, and Saint Motel, the family-friendly Kidrockers LA returns this Sunday to The Echo, hosted by comedians Matt Dwyer and Matt Braunger with music by The Damselles & the TC4 and Quazar & the Bamboozled.
