It was a night for drummers at the Henry Fonda. We were underwhelmed by Mary Timony's set (choosing to lounge outside after watching for a few songs) but would've been annoyed were it not for Devin Ocampo's aerobic drumming. It's not that her music is bad -- Ex Hex appears to be filled with some nice tracks -- its just that it wasn't very interesting to watch or listen to on stage. more ›
