Tonight at the Corey Helford Gallery, Los Angeles artist Lola unveils her new collection of paintings. For "Ipsum Factum," Lola created metaphorical narratives that explore the relationships between humans and animals. In one painting a little girl sits with a paint brush touching up her swan boat with other insects and fuzzy creatures nearby. Another work shows a small girl leaning on a very large gray cat.
