Blake came over to the Dodgers before the trading deadline in late July as one of the cogs to help the Dodgers make their playoff run. The agreement is reportedly for three years and $17 million. At the age of 35, this is Blake's first free agent contract. Also noted in this story is that the Dodgers are also signing infielder Mark Loretta.
