Last week we created a map showing primary election results by county in California and today we'll break it down further. Below is a map with a headshot of the winning candidate in the center (more or less) of each district. Click on each placemarker to see that district's results. View Larger Map Hillary Clinton beat Barack Obama by a similar margin in LA County as she did in the state, and by significantly greater......

The LA Times has compiled a handy interactive map to help aid in your Tournament of Roses parade planning. You can use the map to view road closures, metro routes, parking locations, grandstand locations and, our personal favorite, the post-parade viewing area where all the floats will be on display. It's kind of like backstage at an awards-show, when you get to see all the gorgeousness and garishness up close. Whether you think the......

This weekend's red flag warnings rang true around 3:30 a.m. in the hills above Malibu. In six hours, over 2,000 acres have burned and at least 35 homes (of the multiple-million-dollar variety) are reported destroyed. Everyone in the Malibu Bowl area west/southwest to Point Dume have been ordered to evacuate as 35-40 miles an hour gusts are fueling fires over roads and canyon passes. Today, they announced the 30/30 program:LADOT will install and activate 30 left turn arrows in 30 business days at some of the City’s most congested and bottlenecked intersections.......

The service offers a relatively easy-to-use trip planner as well as an LA Country traffic map, although the large map image is difficult to read on smaller phone screens. The site works on 90 percent of current hand-held devices, Metro claims, so we trust the early kinks......

One thing LAist salivates over is the many Google mashup maps Gothamist gets to show New Yorkers. Here in LA, we're still struggling to find a good number of Los Angeles based Google Maps. We love RentSlicer. LA Eats has potential. What are we missing here? Google Maps Mania, the unofficial Google Maps blog that tracks websites, mashups and tools being influenced by Google Maps, has pointed us towards My California Traffic. Here you......
