THURSDAY
More Critics than Critiques
'Tis a busy night all over, so we'll skip the niceties and get down to business.
Westwood is Not Downtown
Aside from the Vice Presidential debates, there are some events going on around town. If you decide to go out rather than remain home, glued to the TV as Cheney and Edwards duke it out, you can always catch the highlights on the radio while on your way to one of these fine events.
So Much and Yet, So Much
'Tis a busy night in our fair metropolis as Los Angeles bids adieu to summer amid the random rainstorms and brilliant sunlight of early September. In celebration of a summer well spent (and hopefully, a fall to be well spent), LAist hopes our fair readers venture out tonight and enjoy the finest the city has to offer.
The Iceman Cometh
Taking it back to junior high, the Knitting Factory has an unusual free show tonight. In the Main Room, see a performance by none other than the man with the wacky fade: Vanilla Ice. The show is being filmed for a VH1 special, so show up early if you want to get in. Things kick off at 7:00 PM.
