And, lastly, local psych rock outfit Xu Xu Fang (LAist Review, #2, #3) are poised to headline Three Clubs. But we strongly suggest heading over to Amoeba Music to catch Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros (LAist Review), who will be ringing in their forthcoming debut Up From Below.

December is list-making season. And for us music journalists, it is a time to look back on scores of albums, reflect upon the music and recapitulate our favorites.
