L.A. Union Station is an architectural wonder, combining Dutch Colonial Revival, Mission Revival and Streamline Moderne styles. Built in 1939, this transportation hub is known as "Last of the Great Railway Stations" in the U.S. Doesn't it sound like an ideal spot for a music video?

Week In Rock: Wilco, Dinosaur Jr., Third Eye Blind, Electric Daisy Carnival
This week Wilco (LAist Interview) will be taking on a three-date stint at the Wiltern with Jonathan Wilson and Okkervil River (LAist Review) in tow. Amherst-based rockers Dinosaur Jr. will be taking on a two-night stint at the Troubadour. San Franciscan alternative rockers Third Eye Blind will be performing at the Hollywood Palladium with locals Low vs Diamond. And, lastly, Friday and Saturday will mark the 13th annual Electric Daisy Carnival—the biggest dance festival in North America—which will take place at Los Angeles' own Memorial Coliseum. Thievery Corporation, Paul Oakenfold, STS9, The Crystal Method, Groove Armada, Paul Van Dyk, Infected Mushroom, Shiny Toy Guns, Boys Noize, Fake Blood and Shinichi Osawa, among many, many others, are all slated to grace this year's bill.
Tonight In Rock: Disturbed, Wale, Nickel Eye, Anoraak
Tonight Chicago-based butt rockers Disturbed will be performing at the Hollywood Palladium. New York's own folk rock outfit Nickel Eye, which features none other than Nikolai Fraiture of the Strokes, are set to headline the Troubadour with Low vs Diamond in tow. The Echoplex will play host to a handful of French DJs, including LAist favorite Anoraak. Sara Watkins of Nickel Creek is performing solo at the Largo at the Coronet. And, lastly, local experimental collective Heard of Elephants will be performing with Collisions at the Unknown Theater. But we strongly suggest that you head over to the Key Club to catch D.C.-based rapper Wale, who has been exalted by the likes of Pitchfork and LA's foremost hip-hop expert Jeff Weiss.
Tonight In Rock: CSS, Murs, Miranda Lee Richards, Low vs Diamond
Tonight Brazilian electro pop sensation CSS will be stopping through the Echoplex with Portland-based goobers Natalie Portman's Shaved Head. LA local Murs (LAist Interview) is poised to flow at the El Rey Theatre. Singer-songwriter Miranda Lee Richards will be gracing the stage at the Hotel Café. The Watkins Family (LAist Review) is slated to put on a special Christmas edition of their Family Hour at Largo at the Coronet. And, lastly, the gruff indie rock outfit known as Low vs Diamond (LAist Review) will be letting loose at the Troubadour with their Seattle friends Barcelona. But considering the "drastic" change in climate and the nature of the season, we strongly suggest heading over to Pershing Square for Spaceland On Ice. What better way to ring in the winter than with LA's own bluesy rock duo Rumspringa (LAist Review), who will be performing for free!
