Next Thursday, Lou Adler is bringing a hybrid musical production of Rocky Horror to The Wiltern in a tribute to the 35th anniversary of the movie's release, complete with a costume ball. The event is a fundraiser for The Painted Turtle, Adler's summer camp for children with chronic, life-threatening illnesses. He spoke with us last week from his Malibu offices.
Roxy 2.0: How Social Media Brought the Club Back
Nic Adler grew up at The Roxy. His father, Lou Adler, opened the club the year Nic was born. He would spend his afternoons after school at the club and grew to dislike the rock music it became so famous for spotlighting.
