The British artist responsible for Radiohead's album and poster art since 1994 will soon present his cynical vision of L.A. in a solo exhibition, "Lost Angeles," at Subliminal Projects. Inspired by the impact of current societal trends and behavior toward the City of Angels, Stanley Donwood presents an apocalyptic view of a very flawed future, and we're both intrigued yet reluctant to view it.

So when we heard that one of our own was on a mission to get a creation of his on the menu at venerable LA deli institution Canter's we thought we'd pitch in and offer our help. Zack Jerome, the LAist sports writer who also is the man behind the Lost Angeles blog, has come up with the "Zack and White," an aptly-named assemblage using Canter's Black and White cookies and an ice cream filling.
