Known for her fascination with hookers, wild life, and wild women, Natalia Fabia's current show at the Corey Helford Gallery show a glimpse of her softer side. Fabia celebrates the cute Kawaii in Japanese pop culture by painting her lolita friends surrounded by iconic toys and sweets. She shows these painting along side images of women in bikinis, lingerie, and nudes. The paintings, displayed under a giant toy-filled bubblegum-colored chandelier, reveal Fabia's exploration of the female form ranges from super cute to salacious, all painted with vibrant detail.

2009: The Adult Industry in Photos
With the ongoing recession and continued threat of piracy, 2009 may have been tough for the multi-billion dollar adult industry, but it was also Sasha Grey's most prominent thus far. With the leading role in Steven Soderbergh's labeled her "The Dirtiest Girl in the World" and Fleshbot included her in their Top Ten Crush Objects of 2009 (NSFW). TV Junkie: 'The Philanthropist' Debuts; More Original Programming from AMC
We loved HBO's "Rome" and its Marc Anthony, James Purefoy, is playing the lead in NBC's "The Philanthropist" which premieres tonight. The series is getting major hype but we haven't received any screeners from NBC which makes us suspicious that the show isn't all its cracked up to be. Purefoy's involvement is enough to get us interested in the first episode - we know we can always switch over to "Gordon Ramsay's F Word" on BBC America if "The Philanthropist" falls short.
TV Junkie: Thursday
The much hyped Lipstick Jungle makes its debut tonight. The networks are desperate to get a Sex In The City lift but how typical to go after a show format that premiered a decade ago instead of coming up with something new and original. Reviewers who received a preview from NBC have said that Lipstick Jungle is "not as bad as Cashmere Mafia" - a Pyrrhic Victory at best.
