Tonight In Rock: Jon Brion, Everest, Dead Confederate, Little Boots

Tonight, as always, local multi-instrumentalist/producer extraordinaire Jon Brion (LAist Interview, #2, Review) will be jamming with friends at the Largo at the Coronet. Athens-based psych rockers Dead Confederate and Austin-based rock outfit Ume are poised to open for none other than legendary Phoenix-bred alternative rockers the Meat Puppets. And, lastly, English electro-pop songstress Little Boots will be headlining the Roxy with Boston-based electro-pop quartet Yes Giantess and local retro 70s pop act Music Go Music in tow. But we strongly suggest heading over to the Troubadour to catch local alt-rockers Everest (LAist Review, #2). LAist favorites the Parson Red Heads (LAist Review, #2, #3) and These United States are slated to kick things off.

Tonight In Rock: Eagles of Death Metal, Matt & Kim, The Soft Pack, Castledoor

Tonight Palm Desert-bred rockers Eagles of Death Metal will be headlining the Henry Fonda Music Box. Brooklyn-based punk/dance duo Matt & Kim are slated to perform at the Troubadour with experimental rockers the Mae Shi (LAist Interview, Review, #2) in tow. LAist favorites the Soft Pack (formerly known as the Muslims) are slated to rock with San Diegan garage rock outfit Crocodiles at the Echo early on in the night. English electro-pop sensation Little Boots will be gracing the stage at Spaceland. And, lastly, local indie rockers Castledoor (LAist Review, #2, #3, #4, #5, #6) are poised to play Bordello. But we strongly suggest stopping by the Silver Lake Lounge to see electro-pop songstress Glasser.

Tonight In Rock: Razorlight, Miranda Lee Richards, Greg Laswell, Little Boots

Tonight Anglo-Swedish rockers Razorlight will be headlining a sold-out show at the Troubadour with locals Red Cortez in tow. San Franciscan-bred singer-songwriter Miranda Lee Richards is kicking off a month-long residency at Spaceland. And, lastly, LAist favorites Whispertown 2000 (LAist Interview, Review, #2) will be performing at the Hotel Café with San Diegan singer-songwriter Greg Laswell (LAist Interview, Review, #2, #3, #4, #5). But we strongly recommend heading over to Cinespace to catch English electro-pop sensation Little Boots.
