For a third consecutive weekend, Inception ruled the box office. The twisty thriller brought in $27.5M ($193.3M) to easily top the unbelievably horrible Dinner with Schmucks ($23.3M). Salt enjoyed a solid second week ($19.2M | $70.8M) while Despicable Me ($15.5M | $190.3M) continued to print money. Newcomer Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Pussy Galore ($12.5M) rounded out the top 5.

Weekend Movie Guide: Will Inception Deliver?
When was the last time a studio film opened that carried with it such anticipation and hope for brilliance? Inception almost has to be great in order to avoid being considered a disappointment. If early reviews are any sign, brilliance may have been achieved. Expectations are considerably more slight for The Sorcerer's Apprentice. As a devoted Nic Cage fan I will obviously see it, but I'm expecting pure popcorn and cheese. Kisses is several years old, but notices have been ecstatic. What took it so long to make it to theaters?
DVD Tuesday: He Just Wants to Have Sex with You
I'm still angry at how much mileage Greg Behrendt has gotten out of the whole He's Just Not That Into You thingie. Seriously -- this guy is a millionaire because of a fucking phrase! Not only that, but it's a phrase that other people were saying long before this jack-off codified it. It was in common usage for years! It would be like me publishing a book called Who Farted? and suddenly being rich. Don't buy this DVD! Instead, buy Weeds: Season 4 and help honor the American entrepreneur! Looking for a downer evening (or maybe a starting point for the whole "yeah, we should get divorced" conversation")? Revolutionary Road will do the heavy lifting for you.
