It's May 4th...which means thousands of Star Wars lovin' folks around the world can chuckle and say "May the Fourth be With You," which means "Happy Star Wars Day!" For your video lunch, we've got the classic Star Wars trilogy, summarized in 2 minutes and 13 seconds as narrated by a kid and performed with Legos.
May the Fourth Be With You
Your Heart Will Go On, and Your Legos Will Go in the Pool
There was this song we used to sing when I was a kid that is cute, morbid, a history lesson, and a hint of child pornography* all rolled into one called "It Was Sad When the Great Ship Went Down." That ship, the ill-fated Titanic, went down on April 15, 1912. But in thousands of bathtubs, swimming pools, and living rooms all over the world, models of the ship made of Legos continue to go down in mock sinkings. Legoland is really making a go of it. First Star Wars and now the Hollywood Bowl. And Star Wars in Concert is PLAYING at the Hollywood Bowl! Whoa. I think the Legos are trying to tell us something. And I think that something is that we're only two months away from the official opening night of the Hollywood Bowl season (June 17). Of course even before the official start there Kylie, Motley Crue, Stevie Nicks & Rod Stewart, Star Wars, and the Playboy Jazz Festival. Dust off the picnic basket. The time is now.

According to LEGOLAND's website, the theme park has developed a Star Wars miniland that features seven scenes from the six movies, and including planets like Naboo, Geonosis and Christophsis.
$1 Billion And 20 Years Ago: Michael Jackson's Thriller... With Legos
On this day in 1991 Michael Jackson essentially signed a $1 billion contract with Sony. Because of this, and also because we have Vincent Price on the brain (see: Dr. Goldfoot), today's video lunch is the classic video of a classic video: Michael Jackson's entire 13-minute "Thriller" reproduced shot for shot with Legos.
Photo Essay: Day 1 at Comic-Con 2009

Given that 125,000 people are attending the convention this year, navigating the Comic-Con exhibit hall is an event in itself. And although the main costume spectacle will take place during Saturday night's masquerade, today's crop didn't disappoint!
