Angels' starter Ervin Santana went 7 1/3 innings giving up the two runs in his first win of the season. Jordan Walden walked one batter in the ninth inning in a non-save situation. Denver Nuggets defeat LA Lakers 102-99. Andrew Bynum before the game said, "Close-out games are actually kind of easy." Easy enough for Bynum since he all but disappeared getting outplayed by JaVale McGee. McGee had 21 points and 14 rebounds while Bynum had 16 points and 11 rebounds. LA Clippers defeat Memphis Grizzlies 101-97 (OT). Blake Griffin led all scorers with 30 points and fouled out in overtime to help lead the Clippers to a 3-1 series victory over the Grizzlies. LA Lakers defeat Denver Nuggets 92-88. The game was tied at 86-86 with a minute left. Three pointers by Ramon Sessions and Steve Blake sank the Nuggets in their hopes of tying the series. Not even a Danilo Gallinari flop could slow the Lakers down. Kobe Bryant had 22 points, Andrew Bynum had 19 points while Blake had 10 and Jordan Hill had 12 off the bench. After Jered Weaver tossed six innings of shutout ball staked to a 2-0 lead, Hisanori Takahashi was charged with the tying runs.
