While Paul Sunderland is a real trooper who's fortunate to have his dream job, LAist is hardly surprised. Los Angeles has extremely high standards for its sports announcers as evidenced by Vin Scully, Bob Miller, Ralph Lawler, and the late-Chick Hearn.
