Sponsored by LAUSD Board Member Steve Zimmer, the motion, called "Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender (LGBT) and Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity Anti-Bullying Resolution," would attempt to make schools safer for LGBT students.

After a jury locked and a judge declared a mistrial yesterday in the case against a teen who shot a gay student in front of other classmates at his Oxnard high school, prosecutors vowed to push for a retrial. TV Junkie: King/Morgan Disconnect; Support Your NBC Comedies
Larry King has labelled his replacement, Piers Morgan, as "oversold" in order to explain the drop in viewers. It's an absurd assumption that shows how disconnected King has become over the past several years. --- If you like NBC Thursday night comedies you had better step up and support them before they disappear. Despite some excellent episodes, last night's shows had huge drops in ratings. --- Check out our weekend edition of the TV Junkie Must-Watch Plan.
Turn In Your Top Hat & Tails: Beverly Hills Ambassador Laid Off
Not even the Ambassador of Beverly Hills is safe from economic cutbacks. Gregg Donovan, the 51-year-old former concierge and personal valet to Bob Hope who has been greeting visitors to the lux and lavish 90210 from the corner of Via Rodeo and Rodeo Drive for more than a decade, has been asked to turn in his top hat, frilly white shirt and signature red fancy coat by the Beverly Hills Conference & Visitors Bureau that reportedly said they could no longer afford him.
Tomorrow Broadcaster Larry Reigns as 'King for a Day'
Break out the suspenders and the hard-hitting questions (with a little flirtation for kicks), because tomorrow is "Larry King Day" in Los Angeles. City Councilman Bernard C. Parks will present a resolution during the Council meeting on Friday to declare December 17th as such, in honor of King's farewell broadcast of Larry King Live on CNN tonight. As part of the City honor, King will be granted rule as "King for a Day," according to Parks' office.

TV Junkie: Starz Drops 'Party Down'
It's with more than a bit of sadness that we note that Starz has opted to not renew its comedy "Party Down". We know that we'll soon see the very talented cast members in other shows, particularly Adam Scott and (the beautiful) Lizzy Caplan (remember her awesome turn in "True Blood" a couple years back?). But this doesn't mitigate the loss of a show that had such great humor about what is a very real experience for a lot of people in LA - surviving as a creative person while trying to "make" it. We personally know 4 people whose existence is similar to the characters of the Party Down catering team.

TV Junkie: Monday
Now that the writers' strike is over and it's full-steam ahead with the Oscars, you can bet that just about every TV channel is going to dogpile on the gala event. Yeah, the Grammys went ahead without interference but the Grammys are nothing compared to the Oscars. E! and CNN already have several shows lined up (look for Oscar host, Jon Stewart, on Larry King this Wednesday night) ready to tackle the exciting topics of: what will be in the gift bags? Who is Prince going to have perform at his Oscar bash? Where do the stars detox before and after the Oscars? etc.

Or about how she sleeps naked with...
Jan Adams Walks Off Larry King Live After They Flew Him Out to LA to Be on The Show
Say what you will about Larry King (he's old, he gets married too much, he's not flashy, he's not hip) but the old fart sure has kept himself in the news lately. Last week, if you recall, he "ambushed" Marie Osmond by revealing to his tv audience that her son was in rehab (which led to much drama and Osmond-family-signs-of-support), and yesterday Larry had the infamous plastic surgeon Dr. Jan Adams walk off his...

This may be the first time anyone has ever heard me say this, but last night the Dodgers lost and I still feel like a winner. JC hooked us up with seats in the Dugout Club, which is where I...

Paris Hilton Says She's Never Done Drugs?
Paris Hilton went on Larry King last night. It was her first tee vee interview after spending twentysomething days in the slammer. Hilton: "No." Unfortunately Paris must had forgotten about all of those videos that came out last year on the ParisExposed.com website that showed...
