Restaurants and Institutions' released their list of the top 100 highest-grossing independent (non-chain) restaurants in the United States. Totaling $1.53 billion, all restaurants on the list at least grossed $11.3 million. The Los Angeles region really didn't make an impact, but San Francisco made away with four and Chicago with seven. A bigass hole in the street in a posh neighborhood in La Jolla has victimized one home and forced families from four other homes to evacuate. Power lines fell, and at least four homes were evacuated. At last, a Roy's restaurant is finally coming to LA Chef Roy Yamaguchi is opening another of his Hawaiian fusion restaurants in California. Gayot.com reports "the cookbook author and television host/star has restaurants named after him in Hawaii, Florida, Texas, Georgia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New York, Illinois, Washington and Nevada."
