LAst Night's Action: Clippers, Kings Win Big

LA Clippers defeat Portland Trail Blazers 105-95. Chris Kaman once again came up big with 20 points and Marcus Camby grabbed 15 boards to lead the Clippers over the infirmed Trail Blazers. Going into the fourth quarter the Clippers led by only four points. They went on an 18-6 run holding the Blazers scoreless for four minutes during that run. Kaman has been dominant this season scoring 20 or more points in 10 of his last 11 games. He is currently the Western Conference’s leading scoring center. more ›

LAst Night's Action: Kings Blow Out Wild

LA Kings defeat Minnesota Wild 5-2. Not only did the Kings have the lead going into the third period, they held the Wild scoreless in that period. The Kings penalty kill was suspect giving the Wild's two scores on four power play opportunities. But overall the Kings limited the Wild's shots holding them to 14 after two periods. And having been outscored 15-4 on their recent losing streak, it was a good sign when the Kings came out to score first on a Kyle Calder wrist shot. more ›

Lakers Announce Move

No the Lakers aren't physically moving anywhere, however their radio broadcasts will. Beginning next season the Lakers will be moving their radio broadcasts to 710 ESPN. Since the station will be moving their studios to the new LA Live complex next to the Staples Center, the move does make sense. However it is a bittersweet one since AM 570 KLAC has been the Lakers radio home since the 1976-1977 season. more ›
