WEDNESDAY

That Rodger Jacobs is always stirring up trouble and this time, somehow, half our blog-friends are involved. Gridskipper launched an awards thing and all hell broke loose. First there was the campaigning and then there was the remorse. Rodger and Kim Cooper of LAist fave The 1947 Project called Shenanigans and somehow our friend Megan (who tells us that cupcakes are still hot this winter) got hit with a drive-by thrashing in the process. Who knows, though, all the Urbs controversy might be just what gridskipper needs and LAist fan and friend, Bob Hanifen, can keep posting about Los Angeles long into the new year.

It's surprising to realize that Kim Cooper and Nathan Marsak started the 1947 Project blog just last March because we can't imagine our daily routine without it.
