"Dying is easy; comedy is hard." It's a tired saying, but it's true. It’s hard to think of more than three artists whose comedy albums have been memorable - Steve Martin, Cheech & Chong, and Monty Python. Comedy albums are hard. more ›

Even my beloved Thursdays are starting to fill up with reruns. We do have a great Fellini movie on tonight though, so open a fine Chianti (or my preference of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo) and drink it all in. Also kids, the Style Network notified me that they are looking for folks for a new reality show. I couldn't wait to rush home and watch my TiVo of the Creative Arts Emmy awards! I would never even have watched those awards if not for the fabulous Kathy Griffin. During her acceptance speech Saturday night, she shocked pious Catholics with the statement, "A lot... more ›

E! put her way up as far off the red carpet as they could so as not to fluster the celebs. Poor babies. And poor viewers. Kathy has... more ›

Kathy Griffin hates old people

Kathy Griffin hates old people

Has one of our favorite D-listers gone too far, even for us? Kathy Griffin is suing her elderly neighbors, 78-year-old Bernard Subkoski and his 71-year-old wife Celeste Dickinson. Suboski built his dream home in the Hollywood Hills but, when health problems made the couple want to downsize, they sold it to Kathy Griffin and moved across the street. The house is reportedly worth $2.85 million. Now, despite an agreement that says any issues with the property should be handled privately, Griffin has filed a complaint in LA Superior Court over construction problems. more ›
