With the AFI Festival recently over, and the holiday media blitz still a few weeks away, you may be looking for some under-the-radar films to fend off your all-too-inevitable turkey-induced football coma. At least, the hard-working, agrarian folks from Bel Air certainly hope so. Somewhere between standing in line at the soup kitchen and picking up extra night shifts at the local Big 5 Sporting Goods, these hardscrabble film lovers decided to put up the first ever Bel Air Film Festival.

Idol-heads and Runway-heads have a lot to celebrate tonight and I'll be damned, look at how busy the schedule is in the 10:00-11:00pm time frame. Since I don't think any of the options are fantastic is it better to have a little or a lot of mediocrity to choose from?

Toss in some cameos by John Stamos and George Lucas (we're guessing the Paris Hilton is a look-alike), and this is the 'illist clip this...

Check out Nate Burr's winning entry in the You Tube music video contest for "Circle Circle Dot Dot." The song itself is by Jamie Kennedy and Stu Stone, and has been playing for a few months on Kennedy's Myspace page. We all remember the track he's "sampling," but didn't you ever wonder about the etymology of the cootie?...
