At the cost of $1.6 million, Washington DC's Metropolitan Police Department has asked the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department send 340 sheriff's deputies to the inauguration of President-elect Barack Obama next month. It's a nice honor, but in this recession, LA County Board of Supervisors are not happy, especially since the reimbursement may be a million dollars short.
