After eight and a half years of nine-to-five work and three Spiderman franchises, Ian Shive had enough. Like most us, we all wish we could just grab a camera and travel to earn a living. But like most of us, we don't. Shive is the exception.

Terence Blanchard, Nicholas Payton, Christian McBride and Jimmy Cobb are amongst some of the musicians joining forces tonight to celebrate the work of jazz greats Miles Davis and Gil Evans. Tonight's performance will feature music from collaborative works by the two greats, including the highly acclaimed Sketches of Spain, Miles Ahead and Porgy and Bess. One night only, starting at 8 PM at the Hollywood Bowl.
