On Friday evening, pornstar and director (as well as recent UC Irvine guest speaker and former Howard Stern Show guest) Dana DeArmond (MySpace) celebrated the release of her Vivid-Alt (MySpace) movie Role Modeling with a party at the 6th Street Warehouse in Downtown Los Angeles. Donations of canned food at the door benefited the Downtown Women's Center. To prepare for this interview, I scoured my closet for my pair of unwashed lucky socks, put on some Dog the Bounty Hunter ondemand, and tried to ignore the fact that his girlfriend is "shnacky", as I like to say. Yucko the Clown is a regular guest on "The Howard Stern Show", a stand-up comic, and the co-creator of The Damn Show later 'ported' to MTV2 as Stankervision. Currently he's touring with the Killers......

Earlier this week we had interviews with the Rev. Bob Levy, Miss Howard TV model Stephanie Petruso, and we touched base with Greg Fitzsimmons. Today we say Hey Now with Richard Christie's bff and emotional friend, Sal. Sal The Stockbroker is performing at the Avalon tonight in LA with the Killers of Comedy (Rev. Bob Levy, Jim Florentine, Richard Christy, Shuli, Yucko the Clown, Beetlejuice & The Iron Sheik). If you're a chick, leave......

Will the real reverend please stand up. The Reverend Bob Levy and his collective of stand-up comics known as the Killers of Comedy (Rev. Bob Levy, Jim Florentine, Sal Governale, Richard Christy, Shuli, Yucko the Clown, Beetlejuice & The Iron Sheik), are coming to the Avalon and even Hollywood will notice. Bob is a regular on "The Howard Stern Show", is a professional comedian, has horrible spelling skills, and lives with in the basemen......

On Halloween, pornstar and director (not to mention a former girlfriend of Howard Stern Show staffmember JD Harmeyer) Kimberly Kane (MySpace) celebrated the release of her Vivid-Alt (MySpace) movie Triple Ecstasy with a party at the self-described "industrial disco-tech" Das Bunker (MySpace) in Los Angeles. Among those in attendance besides Vivid-Alt head Eon McKai (MySpace) and director Octavio "Winkytiki" Arizala (MySpace) were pornstar-turned-photographer Gia Jordan (MySpace), former porn journalist(?) Luke Ford, and starlets Sasha......

The numbers are in. My very unscientific hypothesis from last week was correct. Kanye West crushed 50 Cent in the battle of hip-hop heavyweights. According to Nielsen's SoundScan, Kanye's Graduation sold 957,000 copies, the biggest first week total of 2007. 50 Cent's Curtis on the other hand only sold 691,000 copies. While 50's nearly 700,000 copies sold is the second biggest total for week one sales, it is still a considerable drop-off from his two......

LAist loves the Howard Stern Show. We're Sirius subscribers, we have been known to defend his good name, we listened while he was #1 in LA, we're rooting him on as Sirius approaches 7 million subscribers, we even stood in line in Pasadena to get "Miss America" signed. So when we got the opportunity to interview long-time producer, and former intern, Mike Gange, we had lots of questions that we were dying to know......

Not known for his on-the-spot news coverage, the Howard Stern Show broadcast of the tragedy five years ago remains one of the most compelling accounts of that infamous day. For years the shock jock was the most popular morning radio show in Los Angeles, and on the morning of 9/11 Stern got the news while talking about Pamela Anderson. The show broadcast about four miles away from the World Trade Center and as soon......

This morning on the Howard Stern Show the king of all media read a statement written by a former Clear Channel radio personality who is now on a mission to get Stern a star on Hollywood Blvd. In the statement, "Mad Radio Show" host Wayne Perry concludes that the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce charges $15,000 to nominate someone for a star, but he suggests they raise about twice that to persuade the decision-making. Howard......
