Howard Stern's Better Half Rumored 'Celeb' Hoofer on Next DWTS

In what seems to be yet another case of famous-by-proxy (see: Jewel's husband), the rumor mill is whirring over the latest buzz that puts "shock jock" Howard Stern's blonde bride of less than a year, Beth Ostrosky, as a contender for the coveted Dancing With the Stars prize. The pair hooked up soon after Stern's divorce from his first wife of 20 years, and became engaged on Valentine's Day in 2007.

Seven Questions with Sam Simon

LA has a diverse cast of characters. Whether it's the characters with stirring stories or interesting occupations or the people who are just simply characters, this town has them all. In an effort to get to know some of those characters a little better, we've created "Seven Questions with..."

Every morning on Good Day LA, Jillian Reynolds (formerly known as Jillian Barberie) is ready to have a good time. Ask her about her job...she loves it. Ask about her husband and baby daughter...big smiles. Life in LA has been very very good to Jillian

Telling a story is not easy, especially when the stories are emotional, outrageous and true. Comedian, actor and member of the Howard Stern Show cast, Artie Lange, however, has made a living telling the stories of his life on the air and on stage. Finally, those stories that have made the Stern Nation laugh since joining the show in 2001, along with several other painfully true moments from Lange's life can be found in Too Fat to Fish.

Howard Stern, America's favorite shock jock, married his longtime girlfriend Beth Ostrosky. The ceremony took place tonight at Le Cirque in New York. According to E! Online the beautiful bride wore a gown designed by Marquesa, a favorite among the Hollywood crowd. Guests included, Jimmy Kimmel, Sarah Silverman, Adam Carolla, Barbara Walters, Billy Joel, Joan Rivers, Robin Quivers, Artie Lang, Chevy Chase, Donald Trump, and John Stamos.

LAist had the chance to check in with comedian/radio personality/Emmy Award winning writer Greg Fitzsimmons last night as he drove to Hollywood from the San Manuel Indian Bingo & Casino where he earned a standing ovation, opening up for Artie Lange. Driving from the desert to Hollywood isn't something the Venice Beach resident does on a regular basis, luckily we had access to Google Maps serving as interviewer/navigator to Greg on his journey. The drive to Saturday's show at the Gibson Amphitheater will, fortunately, be a much shorter one for the former writer/producer of The Ellen Degeneres Show. While driving the 610 to the 10 to 101, the Bronx native shared his thoughts on the LA comedy scene, his radio show, hosting the AVN Awards and Dave Navarro.

Bob Saget will perform at 4th & B in San Diego on March 7, The Grove of Anaheim on March 8 and The Joint at The Hard Rock in Vegas on March 21 as part of his national theater tour and we're lucky to have another chance at him.

On Friday night, pornstar and director (as well as recent , with a party at Beauty Bar in Hollywood. It's also the debut release from Adam & Eve's new Independent Adult Cinema (IAC) imprint.

It's becoming a task to find episodes of anything new and/or remarkable. Do I even mention that there's new episodes of Celebrity Apprentice, Make Me A Supermodel, and CSI? Am I supposed to be excited about informing you that there will be two (2!) new episodes of NBC's Chuck airing two weeks from tonight?

On Friday evening, pornstar and director (as well as recent UC Irvine guest speaker and former with a party at the 6th Street Warehouse in Downtown Los Angeles. Donations of canned food at the door benefited the Downtown Women's Center.

While the rains yesterday helped alleviate some of the dryness under which southern California has been hampered, it did little to lessen the worries of those in fire-stricken areas. Streaming rivers of rain created mudslides and prompted officials to call for mass evacuations. Flash flood warnings remain in effect. But, hey, it's LA, and today was clear and beautiful. A woman who poisoned her Marine husband to buy a boob job with the insurance...

To prepare for this interview, I scoured my closet for my pair of unwashed lucky socks, put on some Dog the Bounty Hunter ondemand, and tried to ignore the fact that his girlfriend is "shnacky", as I like to say. Yucko the Clown is a regular guest on "The Howard Stern Show", a stand-up comic, and the co-creator of The Damn Show later 'ported' to MTV2 as Stankervision. Currently he's touring with the Killers...

Earlier this week we had interviews with the Rev. Bob Levy, Miss Howard TV model Stephanie Petruso, and we touched base with Greg Fitzsimmons. Today we say Hey Now with Richard Christie's bff and emotional friend, Sal. Sal The Stockbroker is performing at the Avalon tonight in LA with the Killers of Comedy (Rev. Bob Levy, Jim Florentine, Richard Christy, Shuli, Yucko the Clown, Beetlejuice & The Iron Sheik). If you're a chick, leave...

Will the real reverend please stand up. The Reverend Bob Levy and his collective of stand-up comics known as the Killers of Comedy (Rev. Bob Levy, Jim Florentine, Sal Governale, Richard Christy, Shuli, Yucko the Clown, Beetlejuice & The Iron Sheik), are coming to the Avalon and even Hollywood will notice. Bob is a regular on "The Howard Stern Show", is a professional comedian, has horrible spelling skills, and lives with in the basemen...

You may remember Stephanie as Miss Howard TV for the month of October on HowardTV, (Howard's on-demand uncensored channel on cable television), but really it feels like she's the 13th girl in 12 months that Stern-sidekick Artie Lange has fawned over. However with Stephanie, there was that special "paisan" connection. If you go to ASU, you've probably facebook stalked her. If you have HowardTV, you're well ahead of the game. She is also Miss...

Attempting to pull sticky, er, bubble gum out of your hair was as vain as trying to banish Hanson's "MmmBop" from your brain ten years ago. A decade ago, that was your little sister's Hanson. Fast forward to 2007 and you've got three grown men who have purposely done nothing to shed their image of the past but have somehow emerged as a band for today. Unlike comparable, so-called boy bands, the Tulsa, Oklahoma-based...

On Halloween, pornstar and director (not to mention a former girlfriend of with a party at the self-described "industrial disco-tech" Das Bunker (MySpace) in Los Angeles.

The numbers are in. My very unscientific hypothesis from last week was correct. Kanye West crushed 50 Cent in the battle of hip-hop heavyweights. According to Nielsen's SoundScan, Kanye's Graduation sold 957,000 copies, the biggest first week total of 2007. 50 Cent's Curtis on the other hand only sold 691,000 copies. While 50's nearly 700,000 copies sold is the second biggest total for week one sales, it is still a considerable drop-off from his two...

After not receiving a Creative Arts Emmy last year, Kathy Griffin stormed out, flipping off the winners from Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, while shouting, ''I was robbed and you all know it! Everybody can suck it!'' You would think that would be a hard one to top. Especially this year, when she won. But Griffin is never one to disappoint. During her acceptance speech Saturday night, she shocked pious Catholics with the statement, "A lot...

When Howard Stern left the airwaves, many of us in LA were too cheap, or too lazy, or too broke to follow him to Sirius. Adam Carolla took over, coming from years of experience in radio, and a frequent guest on the Stern show when it was on KLSX. Adam has since built his following, fine tuned the show, and is kicking ass in morning radio.

Eddie, Alex, and Wolfgang Van Halen are teaming up with "Diamond" David Lee Roth for a new incarnation of Pasadena's greatest export, the band announced yesterday at the Four Seasons. Wolfie is 16 and the rest of the fellas are in their 50s. On paper it's a disaster in the making, what with Eddie fresh out of rehab, Roth rebounding from his failed attempt to fill Howard Stern's shoes on NY morning radio, and...

Under the moniker, Sacred Fools, Hanson played a secret show at the Hotel Café on Friday to promote their upcoming record, The Walk (July 24 / 3CG). More than a handsome-band gimmick and no longer the teeny mmmboppers of the late 90's, the brothers H have grown into confident and relaxed professionals, blessedly talented musicians, and gifted vocalists with three-part harmonies that borderline on supernatural. Zac, in dark tight Levis, Taylor with a flowing,...

Eva Longoria begins her bachelorette weekend in St. Tropez - Daily Mail

For years he was Howard Stern's head writer. Of course that title pissed off Fred Norris, but that was all part of the multi-layered levels of fun that was the Stern show for a decade. Either due to Jackie asking for too much money or of Jackie not wanting to wake up early every morning (something that Artie Lange is now complaining about), Martling was not resigned and in 2001 Lange was eventually hired...

Howard Stern's former head writer, Jackie "The Joke Man" Martling, famous for paying Rodney Dangerfield in jokes, and infamous for giving Artie Lange all the fame that will probably kill him, has not only returned to the airwaves via Sirius, but is returning in the flesh this weekend when he brings his raunchy jokes to the Canyon on Saturday. LAist was lucky enough to score an email interview with one of our all-time favorite...

For a while Howard Stern called Jackie Mason the greatest stand-up comedian ever, but he eventually had to include Jerry Seinfeld and Chris Rock. In a valiant effort to flush his credibility down the drain, Mason has produced dozens of video blogs that he has uploaded on YouTube under the username TheUltimateJew. When he isn't rattling on while on a treadmill, owning every bit of the old man that he's become, he attacks Keith...

Clearly we aren't as big of Howard Stern fans as some would have you think. When we heard that the "Killers of Comedy" (members of Stern's staff and "Wack Pack") were scheduled to be at the Avalon Saturday night we dilly-dallied and didn't make it to Vine until 9ish. Unfortunately the show starring Rev. Bob Levy, Sal Governale, Richard Christy, Shuli, KC Armstrong and the lovable Beetlejuice started at a head-scratching 6pm so the...

The tiny radio station in San Bernardino who prides itself on being "an important part of the Inland Empire by offering local news on the hour, seven days a week, produced by local veteran newscasters who live and work in the Inland Empire" are sure getting a lot of attention because of a syndicated talk show host in New York City. AP is reporting that KCAA will be in court with CBS on Tuesday...

Law & Order: Criminal Intent offers what will no doubt be a sensitive meditation on the perils of fame in a May episode that closely parallels the Anna Nicole Smith saga. Original Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Kristy Swanson, in her puffy, post-pregnancy state (that's the kind of glow you can only get from stealing another woman's husband and having his baby) will play the ersatz Anna Nicole and… (wait for it)… David Cross will play her scummy Howard Stern-esque manager. Set your TiVo to stun. -FOX

Screenwriter-turned-director Frank Darabont, who's made a cottage industry of churning out sappy, sentimental life-affirming dramas based on Stephen King stories, is pissed. He spent a year slaving away with Steven Spielberg on a script for the fourth Indiana Jones film only to have George Lucas nix it. Remember the lovable Jar Jar Binks and his nuanced, heartfelt dialogue? Imagine what like Lucas will do with Indy. -MTV News

The LA Times offers a window into the phenomenally wasteful world of formulaic, big-budget action movies. Author Clive Cussler for some reason expected his top-selling action-adventure novel Sahara to be an equally successful movie. Instead it flopped to the tune of $105 million. That's what happens when you pay Matthew McConaughey's abs $8 million to star in a movie. Cussler sued production company Crusader Entertainment and the case is now in court, which is why the whole world knows exactly how much McConaughey's personal chef made ($48,893) and Cruz's hairstylist raked in ($135,550). -LA Times
