Tonight LA-based alt-country outfit Horse Thieves will be performing at the Echo Country Outpost in Echo Park. Local jazz-infused pop duo Alex & Sam (LAist Interview, Review) are poised to grace the Bootleg Theater with none other than Judson and Mary. And, lastly, Fullerton-based garage rockers My Pet Saddle will be taking on the Troubadour. But we strongly suggest heading over to the Echo to catch Phoenix-based goth-infused electro act Zola Jesus, who will be performing for this week's edition of Michael Stock's Part Time Punks.

LA-based folk rock singer-songwriter Imaad Wasif is poised to grace Spaceland with none other than Dead Meadow front man Jason Simon and Mockingbirds, which contains members of local post-rock act Red Sparowes. But we strongly suggest heading over to Largo at the Coronet to catch LAist favorite, English folk singer-songwriter Laura Marling.
Tonight In Rock: Friendly Fires, Six Organs Of Admittance, Local Natives, Lower Heaven
Tonight St. Albans-based dance pop outfit Friendly Fires (LAist Review) will be performing for a sold-out crowd at the El Rey Theatre. Santa Cruz-bred new folk guitarist Ben Chasny, who performs under the pseudonym Six Organs of Admittance, will be taking on the Echo with Horse Thieves. And, lastly, Silver Lake-based psych rockers Lower Heaven will be continuing their month-long residency at the Silver Lake Lounge. But we strongly suggest heading over to Spaceland to catch LAist favorites Local Natives (LAist Interview), who will invariably be conquering the penultimate night of their month-long residency. Local indie rockers the Flying Tourbillon Orchestra (LAist Review, #2) and the Parson Red Heads (LAist Review, #2, #3) will be performing as well.
