When people trade scary stories, it's usually something that happened to them; a ghost they saw, a voice they heard. Unfortunately, most of my scary stories are things I brought upon myself. Maybe we should take things like this more seriously, but last week "vandals" broke into a vacation home in Palm Springs and caused some eyebrows to rise when they turned over furniture (very nicely), arranged foliage and sticks to create pentagrams and clog toilets, and wrote words like "Pigz" and "Helter Skelter" on a window and on the fireplace... with soap! Ryan Star, the "darkhorse" of the Supernova singing competition, has sung his last note for Tommy Lee and the boys. While the band members agreed that Ryan was the performer who's shown the most growth throughout the season, they felt he wasn't right for the band and let him go.
