Since 1948 Heath Ceramics has been an icon of California design. In 2003, husband and wife team, Robin Petravic and Catherine Bailey, purchased the company. Their shared mission was to revitalize the company, by placing a strong emphasis on design, while preserving Edith Heath’s handcrafted techniques and legacy. We’ve forged a partnership with potter Adam Silverman (Atwater Pottery) to launch a new retail studio in Los Angeles this December. Our new Los Angeles outpost is located at 7525 Beverly Boulevard (at Sierra Bonita Avenue) in the central Los Angeles design district. The new LA facility is our second retail store after our original factory store opened in 1948 in Sausalito. Along with a retail store, we will also offer a gallery and studio that will focus on ceramic research and small run, custom work.
