Celebrate Creative Women At The Pink Parlour Festival
Evade both church and sloth this Sunday, March 27, and head to the historic Santa Anita Race Track in Arcadia for The Third Annual Pink Parlour Festival. A full day (11am-7pm) where "crafty women of the world unite," the festival showcases handmade products created by women. Approximately 150 participants are expected, including handmade crafters, small businesses catering to the handmade scene, visual artists, performing artists and more. Though the spotlight illuminates women, gentlemen, you are welcome to attend. And ladies, do not delay - the first 200 female attendees win giveaways provided by Leg Avenue.
Have Yourself A Hairless Little Christmas: Waxing Meets Shopping At Stark
Walk by this clean, bright space on Sunset Blvd. in Silver Lake and you'll probably think its a gift shop. Partially true. Weekend Festivals, Fairs, & Fun
Say Aloha to the the 50th state with a taste of the food and fun of Hawaii. Lots of Hawaiian shirts and grass skirts, vendors with all sorts of goods, fresh floral leis, loads of food (shaved ice!!!!), and beer. Luckily it won't be a grillion degrees out in Northridge, but put on your Hawaiian Tropic just in case--that California sun still burns through the fog.
