Cincinnati's own garage rock trio Heartless Bastards (LAist Interview) are poised to grace the Echoplex with San Antonio's own retro 50s/60s rock outfit Hacienda in tow. And, lastly, LA-based electronic mastermind Daedelus will be taking over the Avalon in the heart of Hollyweird. Portland's own folk rockers the Builders and the Butchers (LAist Interview) are poised to take on Spaceland. And, lastly, Brooklyn-based indie pop septet Clare & the Reasons will be performing at McCabe's Guitar Shop. The Chemical Brothers will Rock Your World

LAist had a chance to see the Chemical Brothers at the debut of their US tour at the sold-out Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC last night. It's their first headlining appearance in the US in over 5 years and they brought it, full on. They will be headlining the Nocturnal Festival a week from today and there's plenty of other folks to see there as well, but really, the Brothers alone justify attendance. Here's a photo... more ›
