With year-round great weather, awesome beaches, and a short drive to the snow, Los Angeles is the perfect place to get sweaty. This weekend's LA Marathon inspired a lot of people to get back in shape. We're right around the corner from May (national fitness month) and summer (the season of svelte). Of course, any workout routine can leave you stuck in a rut. Tired of staring at the same person's ass in spin class?......

Many great gifts have come from the French; the Statue of Liberty, "French fries" and of course Gerard Depardieu. None of these gifts, however are going to be much help should James Bond or John McClane come running for you. Due to popular demand after LAist's appearance on Rogan and Simers Squared, we present some additional coverage of the UCLA women's gymnastics team from this weekend's NCAA Championships. This, of course, is a horrible segue (in fact no segue at all) to the subject of Part 4......

Magic 91, Clippers 86 - Orlando rallied from a seven point deficit once they started putting more pressure on LA's big men. After going 15 of 19 in the first half, Brand, Thomas, and Kaman only combined for 4 of 17 in the second. This was the Magic's first win against the Clippers in the last 4 games. The Clippers, still without Sam Cassell, are now just 2-11 on the road this season. Red Wings......

Danger 1, Staples Center 0 - NBC 4 is reporting that the Staples Center may not be safe in case of fire or other emergency.
