A man is in grave condition after he was shot in the head during a home invasion in Downey, reports City News Service. The man, whose name hasn't been released, was found by police on the 9300 block of Elm Vista Drive after they responded to a call reporting gunfire.

Who Dropped Off Teen Shooting Victim to Die at Valley Hospital?
17-year-old Darlene Robles of North Hollywood was dropped off at Kaiser Permanente in Panorama City early last Tuesday morning, where she later died. The teen had been shot, and left in the hospital waiting area in a wheelchair by at least two people, while the driver of a private vehicle that carried them to the facility drove off.
Two Reported Shot at Angels Stadium
According to CBS2/KCAL9, two people were reported shot at Angels Stadium. The Anaheim Fire Department said a call of two people shot in the parking lot at Angels Stadium came in at 10:26 pm. Anaheim police are confirming reports of an assault but nothing else. According to ABC7 it was an officer-involved shooting. No officers were injured.
OC Taco Stand Brawl Sends 2 Men to the ER With Gunshot Wounds
Tacos can be exciting stuff, but for one Westminster taco stand things got a little too heated yesterday when a brawl involving about a dozen people erupted outside. The incident took place at Alerto's Mexican Restaurant just before one in the morning, when apparently "a man pulled a gun as one group [of customers] was leaving in their vehicle." According to the officers on scene, "Benjamin Nguyen, 19, suffered a gunshot wound to the chest. Tu Huynh, 21, was shot in the leg," and both were taken to Fountain Valley Hospital. The fight and shooting are under investigation.
Wounded Bouncer Goes to Hollywood Police Station
At around 3:30 this morning a man with a gunshot wound to his chest entered the LAPD station on Wilcox in Hollywood looking for assistance. He said he was a bouncer, but no details about how he sustained his injuries was revealed, and he was soon transported by paramedics to an area hospital. The incident is being investigated, and the victim's condition is unknown.
Possible Homicide Ends in 101 Freeway Accident*
*UPDATE: 4:30 p.m. After six hours the 101 eastbound at the 405 was reopened. No witnesses have come forward with information about the incident, which is believed to be a car-to-car shooting that took place following a dispute. Police are asking for any witnesses to come forward to help the investigation. This is the second post-argument car-to-car shooting on the 101 in the Valley this year.
