CNN's Budget Travel folks have come up with a list that puts the City of Angels in the Number 2 spot for having the best street food in the world. Citing both the old school vendors who roll their carts through MacArthur Park and the new wave of Twittering "gourmet" eats on wheels (they name Coolhaus [LAist Story] and The Grilled Cheese Truck [LAist Story]), the ranking puts L.A. behind #1 Portland, one of the other two U.S. Cities (kudos, Philly) on the list of 14 that includes Marrakech, Morocco; Vienna, Austria; Tel Aviv, Israel; and Bangkok, Thailand, among others.
