18-Year-Old Man Found Dead at UCLA Frat House [UPDATED]
The party came to an abrupt halt on Saturday afternoon for UCLA's Theta Chi fraternity. Glen Parrish, an 18-year-old Manhattan Beach resident, was found dead at the frat house. Friends discovered Parrish's body in bed. He was pronounced dead at 2:10pm. The teen was not a student at UCLA. He attended Arizona State University and was visiting a Theta Chi member.
Three Rapes in One Week At Cal Poly San Luis Obispo
Students and faculty are growing increasingly concerned after the third rape was reported in one week at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. The victim told police that she was assaulted inside her dorm room on Sunday, according to KCBS. She reported that she was intoxicated and unconscious during the attack, as were the other two victims.
2 Stabbed at Cinco de Mayo Party at Cal State Fullerton Fraternity
Two members of the Phi Sigma Kappa fraternity at Cal State Fullerton were stabbed outside a Cinco de Mayo party at their house early Friday morning.

Thirteen percent of UCLA undergrads join fraternities and sororities, and almost twenty-five percent of USC undergrads go Greek. According to a new study published in the journal Sex Roles, undergraduate women who join sororities are more likely to objectify themselves. In other words, they judge their own bodies from an outsider's perspective. They also display higher levels of disordered eating attitudes and behaviors, and show higher levels of body-related shame than those who don't participate in sorority recruitment. Don't be so quick to judge the Greeks, though: sorority membership may simply amplify pre-existing problems.
7 Arrested in Stabbing at UCLA Frat Party
Three UCLA students and four others have been arrested in connection with attacks that took place at an off-campus frat party in September. The incident happened in the early hours on Tuesday, September 22nd when police received a call about an assault with a deadly weapon at a Lambda Phi Epsilon fraternity residence on the 600 block of Midvale Avenue.
