On Wednesday night last week a 140-pound female mountain lion that had "just killed a dog and was charging at police," in the backyard of a residence near the edge of the Angeles National Forest was shot and killed by authorities on the scene. According to the Daily News, the police believe that this was the same mountain lion responsible for other area incidents, including another dog death in Arcadia and two attacks--including one death--on dogs in Glendora. more ›
