The National Weather Service has extended their flash flood warning until 7:00 p.m. for Sierra Madre, Monterey Park, Downtown Los Angeles, and Long Beach. Heavy rain and thunderstorms are travelling north from Long Beach Harbor and across downtown to the San Gabriel foothills. An area of Mexico larger than metro LA is almost completely underwater after two days of severe flooding.
