Sunday night, The Black Ghosts had a late start at Turntable Lab for the release party for their new self-titled album. There was an amiable crowd hanging around in anticipation though, checking out the dj store's collection of street art and photography books, tee shirts and spinning equipment. They were also drinking free Sparks and pocketing free "mixtape" cds from the band.

The moment has finally materialized: The official lineup for the three-day mega music fest in the middle of nowhere (aka Empire Polo Field in Indio) has been announced.

Bay Area transplant Patrick O’Sullivan (above photo, right) is creator and director of All About Walken: The Impersonators of Christopher Walken, a comedic homage to the actor-dancer who plays creepy-spooky better than anyone else we know.
