Looks like Fall Out Boy's Infinity on High has come to at least a temporary stall as one of the band members "is behind bars this morning," according to On the Red Carpet.
Patrick Stump, the band's composer, vocalist, and guitarist was stopped last night while he was driving, and determined the 25-year-old "had a previous warrant out for his arrest in Beverly Hills [...] for being an unlicensed driver."
A Fall Out Boy Falls From Grace? Patrick Stump Arrested
Bamboozle Left 2009 at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater
Highly-anticipated sets by Metro Station, Fall Out Boy, Taking Back Sunday, the Deftones and dozens of others were delivered with great sound and clock-like precision as the two main stages ping-ponged back and forth, leaving only a few seconds of silence between acts. The artists followed through with great performances and plenty of reconizable hits and classics in the mix. Metro Station's "Shake It" and Ashes Roth's "I Love College" represented some of the current hits as nostalgic performances from the Deftones, Adolescents and Vandals dished up some old classics,
Tonight In Rock: AC/DC, Demi Lovato, Fall Out Boy, The Plain White T's
Tonight Australian hard rockers AC/DC will be coming through the Forum. Chicago-based pop punk outfit Fall Out Boy are slated to perform at the Troubadour. And speaking of Chi-town, the Plain White T's will be rocking out at the Roxy. But we strongly suggest that you head over to Spaceland tonight for the Free Monday Night Residency. LA locals the Movies are so good we might just pick them every Monday night.
Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson Pregnant
In his recent blog post on friendsorenemies.com Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz, with his girlfriend Ashlee Simpson in the background, announced that they plan to make something that cannot be illegally downloaded: a baby.
The Roots Jam Session @ The Key Club - 2/9/08
As we mentioned in our interview with Questlove, LAist was on the red carpet for the 5th Annual Roots Jam Session at the Key Club in West Hollywood. While we were hoping that this post would serve as a review of the best live band in the world jamming the night away with a little help from some of their friends, we'll happily settle for the chance to rub elbows with the big names, not-so-big names, and what's their names? that walked the red carpet on Saturday night in support of Rock the Vote and The Roots.

TV Junkie: 'The Office' on at 8 PM; Delay on Colbert; Homer Simpson Does Top Ten; Emo Alert: FOB on 'Last Call'
A Word or, I dunno, like 80: It seems to be coming together a bit on Lost - another good episode last night. If you want the producers' perspective, they're on tonight after Grey's. Delay goes to his base tonight on Colbert. Tonight the networks will have the typical struggle between comedy and young-doctors-in-love, what will you succumb to? Tonight - Thursday - May 17, 2007 Angels @ Mariners (Fox Sports, 7:00 p.m.) Bob...
Fall Out Boy Signing Autographs in Their Own Blood
The kids really do get everything. Earlier we told you about a Dodger fan who heckled a future Hall of Famer out of his jockstrap. Now we're getting verification about a rumor we heard that Fall Out Boy were autographing some stuff In Blood!
TV Junkie: Drew on Letterman; Robin Williams on Conan; New 'Lost'; 2 Get the Boot on 'Idol'
A Word or 4 dozen : Somehow I totally missed posting that the Shield was on last night and again it was good. I think one would be hard-pressed to find more raw and compelling performances on any other show available on the networks or basic cable. Being a former SF resident, I haven't been able to get enough of Conan's broadcast from the Orpheum theater on Market Street- too bad that's still bum-junkie...
Congratulations Adam and Nicole!

LAist would like to congratulate Adam for winning the Name the Year of the Dog contest. He chose "Pencil" which also happens to be the name of the dog in the film. Not the most creative but...

Win Fall Out Boy at the Forum Tickets
Before we admit to liking Fall Out Boy, we just want to say that the easiest thing in the world to like are the cool things - Sonic Youth, Geto Boys, Iggy, Gwar, The Beasties. But to learn to appreciate something for what it is, and not for the pimply teens who also like it, takes a cultured and courageous critic. Not to mention an honest one.

Panel Discussion with Cee-Lo, John Legend and Others
Most equate "panel discussion" with "snoozefest," but BMI and the Los Angeles Times have teamed up to bring us a pretty cool roundtable discussion tomorrow. "How I Wrote That Song" brings together musicians and writers Cee-Lo, John Legend, Butch Walker, Patrick Stump (Fall Out Boy) and others to play a particular song and then discuss the angstfest it took them to get there. There's also time alloted for Q&A so, you can ask those...

TV Junkie: David Spade on CBS; Sam Spade on TCM; Emo Alert: Fall Out Boy on Letterman
A Word or 108: Superbowl Redux: I found myself wandering over to the Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet a couple times yesterday, and that isn't a bad thing -- the kitten halftime show was excellent. Almost all the Superbowl commercials had been leaked onto the web a week ago so there was nothing new there. I still can't understand why, with all those professionals there, that it would take almost Prince's entire (fantastic) set...

MTV's Video Awards 2006: Craptacular! at the Disco
Even though they have every record company at their beck and call, even though they can basically hand-pick the performers and the songs that they will play, MTV's Video Music Awards are usually hit-or-miss and as comfortable as watching Michael Jackson try to make out with Lisa Marie Presley. Last night's ceremony was no exception with generous parts cringe and a sprinkle of inspiration. Christina, Justin, and Jack Black were talented and wonderful, as...
Fall Out Boy "Saturday" @ Key Club 8/16
Under no circumstances should you assume that LAist are Fall Out Boy fans. However, they aren't as annoying as they could be, so we tolerate them. Which is saying something because we don't tolerate a lot. Last week they played a secret show at the Snakes on a Plane soundtrack party at the Key Club. A lot of the bands were there who were on the soundtrack, and not that we dare define what...
Fall Out Boy @ Key Club 8/16
You gotta give it up to Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz. Fucker doesn't sing, he doesn't play lead guitar, he isn't even the cutest guy in the band, but somehow he has become the emo Puff Daddy. Bro's got a hot clothing line (Clandestine), he's pimping out up'n'coming artists and making them hit machines (yes that would be you Panic! at the Disco), he's on five-story-tall Gap ads, and now he's got a record...
Tonight in Rock in LA
To celebrate the Snakes on a Plane soundtrack which was released yesterday, Cobra Starship, the band who performs the theme song will be playing the Key Club tonight. Attendees can expect a plethora of special guests. We can imagine some good odds of a Fall Out Boy or two, random celebs, throngs of kids with digital cameras, Marc Brown, and a red carpet @ Key Club The Neville Brothers, The Meters, Brass Monkey Brass...
