A man in his twenties was stabbed twice in the chest with an unknown object last night during a fight that erupted at the Venice Beach Drum Circle, according to the Daily News. The victim was one of those playing the drums, according to a Los Angeles Police Department sergeant, who said he did not know what prompted the fight, but that it is typical behavior for participants in the weekly drum circle to "bump, push, and dance." more ›

Every weekend, usually at around sunset, groups of people gather on Venice Beach to play and dance their hearts out. Yesterday's crowd was smaller than usual (around 100 people), but was still a fun and joyous time for everyone.
