What do Dirk Nowitzki, Kobe Bryant, and Steve Nash have in common? Besides being three of the biggest ballers in the NBA, they've also just been memorialized in this somewhat awkward but incredibly clever vlog. Paul Brogan reminds us a little of Andy Sandburg from SNL and a lot of those guys from VH1's Best Week Ever. LAist can't wait to see more of him on You Tube.......

Well, it’s official. Kobe is the only player in history besides Wilt Chamberlain to play four straight 50+ games. In Friday night’s game, Kobe scored exactly 50 points, carrying his team to a 111-105 win over the New Orleans Hornets. All eyes were watching, tallying each point he made. And Kobe did actually attempt to be humble: In a pre-game interview, he graciously told John Ireland that one of the best parts about being......

How much has Lamar Odom meant to the Lakers this season? Look at it this way, he was playing more minutes per game than Kobe Bryant. If one guy deserved an injury-free season after everything he’s been through it is Odom. First off, I have to give a shout-out to sharky over at drunkenaudible, author of The Terry Teagle Rundown, since the previous title of the Clipper Weekly inadvertently mimicked the title of his Laker report. Current Record: 5-1, 1st Pacific Last Week: Three home games, three double digit victories. Legendary broadcaster Ralph Lawler perhaps said it best during yesterday’s telecast against the Hornets, calling the Clippers’ performance “workman-like”, playing just well enough to escape......

Current Record: 2-1, T-2nd Pacific Last Week: The Clippers rebounded from a disappointing opening-night loss to Phoenix by knocking off Denver and taking out the Suns in the rematch. Sam Cassell showed that he still has plenty of gas left in his tank at 37, leading the team in scoring and taking all of the big shots down the stretch. Newly acquired Tim Thomas displayed the same form he had in last year’s playoffs......

Memorable Laker achievements extend from the glory days of George Mikan to their recent string of championships with Phil, Shaq and Kobe, but one of the most important contributions from Laker past came to an anticlimactic end this week. Vlade Divac’s retirement represents official closure of the first truly prominent European player in the NBA. Today, we know the Euro influence through names like Dirk Nowitzki (the good), Nikoloz Tskitishvili (the bad) and Antoine......
