Brakes are required at the Red Bull Soapbox Races but a sense of self-preservation is not. The event has been held in more than 40 countries over the past decade, with vehicle designers thinking way outside of their so-called-box. It stopped in downtown Los Angeles for the first time on Saturday.

Battle for L.A. AKA Honda SuperClásico

Baby Loves Disco, the hottest underage club in town, is celebrating Mother’s Day early by hosting their monthly party this Saturday, May 3rd at Social Hollywood on Sunset Blvd. Now hold on Juno, when I say “underage” I mean really, really underage. Baby Loves Disco was created for parents to be able to go out, have a beer or cocktail, and socialize with other parents without having to worry about nanny-cams and ridiculously overpriced day care. Moms and dads can bring their kids ages 6 months to 7 years to run around the dance floor, grab a juice (no gin) pack, and pop bubbles that blanket the ball room while classic hits, mostly Michael Jackson ironically, blast out from local DJ’s.
